We are now seeking Control Systems Engineers to join our technical team at our offices in Bergen. The Role
As a Control Systems Engineer in our Operations Department, you will be involved in delivering Scantrol’s cutting-edge control solutions to customers around the world. Depending on your interests and expertise, you can work within one or more areas, such as design, testing, support, and project management of Scantrol’s control systems. These systems are deployed on a variety of vessels, including marine research vessels, commercial fishing vessels, and offshore service vessels. You will collaborate closely with experienced colleagues to ensure reliable performance and outstanding customer satisfaction.
The role can also include occasional fieldwork, combining technical support and customer interaction. While most support is provided remotely, certain assignments may require travel both domestically and internationally, including supervising and assisting on board vessels when necessary.
Who You Are
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow with us. If you have some of the following qualifications, we would love to hear from you, even if you don’t tick every box:
Education in automation, electrical engineering, or related field (certificate of apprenticeship or technical college)
Experience with control systems and PLC programming
Skilled in testing and troubleshooting technical systems
Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both oral and written
