Scantrol Deep Vision is developing CamSounder, a groundbreaking AI-based camera and sonar system designed to transform commercial fisheries. Our mission is to bring modern technology to the ocean industry, helping fishing skippers make smarter, more sustainable decisions.
The Role
We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the final stage of bringing the CamSounder to market. You will collaborate closely with our product development teams in Bergen and Girona, and work directly with marine scientists, fishing vessel owners and skippers to ensure the successful introduction and adoption of our technology.
As you gain hands-on experience with CamSounder and our customers, there will be opportunities to contribute as part of our R&D team to the continuous development of the Deep Vision system, adapting our technology for new markets and applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the CamSounder project from development to commercial launch
Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and demonstrate product value
Coordinate with AI and computer vision teams to align features with real-world use
Represent Scantrol Deep Vision in the field, engaging vessel owners, skippers, and research partners
Plan and execute pilot deployments, training, and onboard testing
Who You Are
Motivated by applying cutting-edge AI and marine tech making real-world impact
Background in fisheries, ocean technology, marine research, or maritime IT
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field — though relevant experience can compensate for formal education
Solid communication and relationship-building skills
Organized, self-driven, and comfortable managing technical project
